The massage therapy program prepares students to become practicing massage
therapists. Massage therapists use the art of massage and other complementary
modalities for treatment of body dysfunction and general wellness benefits.
Graduates will work with a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions
as well as in providing clients massage for general relaxation. The
majority of massage therapists are self-employed, although many are
employed at resorts, cruise lines, casinos, wellness centers, hospitals,
nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
